1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They enable the site to remember your session, keep you logged in, and function correctly.
2. Local Storage & Session Data We Use
Opsync stores data in your browser's local storage (not traditional cookies) to operate the platform: authentication tokens (to keep you securely signed in via Supabase), session preferences (to maintain your active state), and a consent record (to remember that you have acknowledged this policy). These are stored as local storage entries, not HTTP cookies.
3. What We Don't Use
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or any technology that profiles your behaviour for marketing purposes. Opsync does not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking scripts.
4. Managing Cookies
You can delete cookies at any time through your browser settings (Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data). Note that deleting authentication cookies will log you out of Opsync. The platform cannot function without essential session cookies — disabling them will prevent login.
5. Changes
If we introduce any new types of cookies, we will update this policy and display a new consent prompt. We will not introduce non-essential cookies without prior notice.
